This is a demo to show what inversion (Time Travel) from TENET would be like in a game. I'm still relatively new to unity and this is one of my first proper projects.

The newest update adds a smoother transition between temporal directions and also spheres (Yes spheres!) that you can roll around and see reverse friction in action. Also, it has hopefully fixed some bugs to do with objects not working properly. And finally, objects light up when you can grab them.

Hope you like it ๐Ÿ‘

why there another person?

Ok bruh this is some cool time travel fuckery! I love the cardboard character lol.

Bugs: first time I played, i put a cube in the machine and that broke it so when I went in nothing happend

maybe improve the scene and stuff, but yeah cool concept

Yeah, did you go into the blue or the red machine? When the timer is red you have to go in the red and the blue has to be empty otherwise it would just appear for you. But thanks for the feedback.

I went in the red machine and it didn't work, it only worked when I didn't put any cubes in

Love the game and hope you continue to update it in your spare time. I did a bit of glitch-hunting and the video shows what I found while playing.

Lol OK so umm, I have no idea why the bowling pins work half the time but sure, and somehow you've managed to break the highlighting boxes when you can pick them up. Hmmm, we'll I'll just say when you grabbed multiple boxes at a time is a "feature" ๐Ÿ‘

also at 4:49 I get launched into the air and when I landed I was somewhat in the ground and whenever I jumped I went really high.

Oh it updated?

But the box still gets stuck in the wall

this is cool. love the cardboard protagonist lol

2 Ideas for this game:

A button that when you press it it spawns more boxes

and A feature where you can spawn more turnstiles

Also when are u updating this game again?

(+1)

Well, you don't need a button to spawn more boxes because you can just invert them to make more, also it's pretty hard to do it with multiple turnstiles, especially as I'm not full-time on it but hopefully I'm going to be optimising the teleport of the box to be on Update rather than FixedUpdate and also I'm gonna hopefully make a mobile version, even if it's just a test. ๐Ÿ‘

ok

1 bug I found

When the reverted self goes into the turnstile with a box the reverted self dissappers but the box gets stuck in the wall

Thanks, I published the update in a rush so I'll try to investigate when I can

Great implementation of a Mind Bending concept. Despite the barren landscape I had my fun, combining Unity Physics, and Nolan Physics, to create a sandbox game of "me's".
